Patient Information

We are no longer able to accommodate requests for virtual consultations, as we have found that these do not allow Dr. Naidu to perform an adequate assessment for your care. Instead, we recommend that if you are considering traveling to New York City for your surgery, that you speak with our patient coordinator to obtain some potential dates. You will need to be seen twice by Dr. Naidu prior to surgery, therefore, we recommend scheduling a block of at least two weeks when you can travel to the city, attend both your initial and preoperative office visits, obtain preoperative testing and bloodwork, undergo your procedure, and recover safely prior to returning home.

After Your Surgery

You will need to be seen in the office 1-3 days after surgery. We also ask our patients not to fly for at least 10 days following surgery. You will need to have a responsible adult remain with you for the first 24 hours after surgery. If necessary, a private duty nurse can also be scheduled to be with you during this period.
