Dr. Naidu is very pleased to offer bras from Evelyn & Bobbie, an innovative wireless bra company which uses patented EB Core® technology with a 3D “sling” that lifts and separates from below. The straps have internal bonding structures that connect throughout the garment to ensure that the weight of your bust sits perfectly on the shoulder-clavicle joint, rather than over the trapezius muscle. Shoulder indents and painful marks from traditional underwires are minimized or eliminated. Dr. Naidu provides all patients with a bra from Evelyn & Bobbie as part of their second-stage healing, after use of the surgical bra has been completed in the first stage.
We recommend the following bras and timing following these surgical procedures:
breast reduction: The Defy Bra is a full-coverage pull-over bra that provides posture support and supreme comfort. Begin wearing this bra at three months after surgery.
breast augmentation with implants: The Starlette Plunge Bra features a low neckline and thinner straps. Begin wearing this bra at two weeks after surgery.
breast augmentation with fat grafting: The Bobbie Scoop Bra has thinner straps and less coverage. Begin wearing this bra at six weeks after surgery.
mastopexy (breast lift): The Evelyn Bra provides a push-up effect for an extra lifted silhouette. Begin wearing this bra at six weeks after surgery.
